Chairman of the Deacon Board

Kenneth Wright is New Hope's Chairman of the Deacon Board and Pulpit Committee.  Kenneth gained experience by spending over a decade studying under past influential Chairmen such as J.T. Davenport, Johnnie Pride and L.W. Wright. Kenneth is a Spirit led, charismatic leader with the best interest of the Ministry and Church in his heart.

Deacons are scriptural officers of the Church whose purpose is to aid the Pastor and serve the congregation.

1 Timothy 3:8-10 Deacons likewise must be serious, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for gain; ⁹ they must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. ¹⁰ And let them also be tested first; then if they prove themselves blameless let them serve as deacons.

How can we serve you? The Deacon Ministry serves New Hope in many ways: Communion, Counseling, Teaching, Benevolence and anything else God has assigned.
