It has been said that, "It is almost impossible to get "today's" man to participate in Church".  Fortunately for New Hope, Deacon Scott knows that through God ALL things are possible.  Through his diligent  leadership, the Jr. & Senior Brotherhood have been re-established. The Ministry is not only active, but thriving to new levels. The Brotherhood now has approximately 25 active members.
*** Accomplishments ***
Policy of the Brotherhood
  • The Brotherhood is designed to train the Church leaders of tomorrow.   (5) current Deacons at New Hope Friendship received there formative doctrinal training through the Brotherhood.

  1. Regard for leadership

  2. Undergirding the whole program of the Church

  3. Respect for the rights of others

  4. The absolute duty of each brother to live a Christ-like life

  5. The necessity of temperance

  6. The obligation of every brother to pay his tithe

  7. The right of every brother to use his talents and the opportunity to develop his faculties

  8. To deepen spirituality

  9. To promote religious intelligence and to lead the lost to Christ
